Back by popular demand - but with a twist! Every Thursday evening will officially be DRUMMING CLUB. This will be a mix of technique, listening, and jamming (improvisation) for beginners and advanced drummers alike. If you're great on djembe, improve on tambourine. If you love yourself a shaker, hop on a bass drum. Expand your abilities and have fun doing it.
The idea of this class is not to make you an expert at djembe or fluent in cultural rhythms, but rather for you to understand how to play hand drums competently, gain musicality, and feel confident enough to sit in a group of drummers and hold your own.
These sessions will take place in at my home studio in Golden.
