Back by popular demand - but with a twist! Every other Wednesday evening will officially be DRUMMING CLUB. This will be a mix of technique, listening, and jamming (improvisation) for beginners and advanced drummers alike. If you're great on djembe, improve on tambourine. If you love yourself a shaker, hop on a bass drum. Expand your abilities and have fun doing it.
The idea of this class is not to make you an expert at djembe or fluent in cultural rhythms, but rather for you to understand how to play hand drums competently, gain musicality, and feel confident enough to sit in a group of drummers and hold your own.
These sessions will take place in various parks. Each park location will be disclosed at least one full week prior to the session taking place. For now, we will be meeting at CITY PARK.
Immediately following these sessions, we will be hosting our new advanced RhythmetriX Sessions which are by invitation only. If you'd like consideration for this group, we encourage you to stay, observe, and eventually, level up to the point you get an invitation in.
All Sales Final -- in the event of rain, drumming will take place at my house in Golden.
